WORKING AS A BLOGGER NOW! WHAT MORE CAN DEBBIE DO?..DON'T KNOW?..MY WALK THROUGH 2011 IS DEDICATED TO MY DAD!..AGAIN I DON'T WALK..LEAPS OF FAITH IS ON MY SIDE!
For most of my life, I've loved fashion. Anywhere .. Any how. I could consider myself outside many boxes. I am part of the baby boom babies! Flower child? Always! Drugs? Never! I didn't need them. I was a happy child growing up on the south side of town. Fashion sense didn't come from private schools.. Oh no! After school was when shed our true colors! It's what we wore under our uniforms that counted..
How many times does it take to find my Blog? Too many!
Discovering my Bohemianism.
After attending a catholic high school for girls.. We freely played up our make-up and uniform after 3.
Roll up our skirts, add twiggy lashes and wear a t-shirt that made a statement under our blouses.
In the 60's youmg girls were under the POWER of the FLOWER!
My best friend Beth and I would even paint tiny flowers around our cheeks. I had the heavy liner and lots of frosted lipsticks! Beth and I were flower children in our own way! The beginning of our Bohemianism!
My direction for this blog is to walk you through my style. I dedicate this 58th year of my life to my father, Raymond, who passed away at 57. Daddy is right by my side as my guardian angel.

ReplyDeleteFashion in the 60's became a revolution of the rising hemlines. This movement, in my opinion, was radical.
